Our goal is to give you the very best advice and service available, tuned to your specific business. Our team works closely with a range of businesses and staff, in a variety of ways; although we fix and maintain computer systems and networks, those are only a couple of the ways in which we can promote efficiency, and ultimately, growth.

However, as time goes on, information technology becomes more important to all business prospects, and we are honoured to spearhead this area on behalf of our eminent clientele.

Supportedge first started trading in July 2000. Our core service area extends from Lane Cove to Mosman, but we have customers throughout Sydney.

We offer on-site, remote and telephone support. At Supportedge we maintain a heavy focus on on-site support and this gives us the opportunity to familiarise ourselves with our customers’ systems, and ultimately provide the best possible service. On-site support has a much higher level of productivity than remote support and will get your problems fixed better and faster. However, for situations that only require remote support, we are happy to provide that service too.

Data Recovery

The most common data recovery procedure we perform involves a computer that won’t boot due to a drive failure. This is most often caused by a bump or a knock to the computer while the hard disk is writing critical data. Sometimes the head physically crashes into the the plater. This is where the term ‘hard drive crash’ originated. Of course failure of spinning hard disks happens for many reasons include wear and tear. Some drives spin at 10,000 rpm with as little as 3 nanometres separating the drive head from the disk plater. This provides very little room for error. Something that goes hand in hand with data recovery is your backup plan. If you don’t have a backup policy in place please contact us straight away for a tailor made solution. To ensure we can recover as much data as possible stop using the media or the effected computer straight away. Stage one recovery prices start from only $250 for most media types including hard drives, discs and flash cards. This price includes GST and the replacement drive.
